Most cue builders stated goal is to simulate the "feel" of a one piece cue in their two piece pool  cue. The term "custom cue" merely relates to some amount of inlays and visual ornaments that adds to the purchase price but does not improve playing beyond a mental boost from possessing a fancy cue. Science and technology have been applied to produce improved cue performance. Custom fitting, enhanced feel, and more power were the research goals that has resulted in Advanced Accuracy Cues. Designed without metal pieces that dampen the feel and sensitivity of the cue.

From the tone of the cue striking the cue ball, to the power enhancing tapering , and the purchase price of the cues , the direction of this project has been player \ consumer driven.

The production of the cues is very limited because they are all individually built and tested.
