Create a video tape of your swing \ stroke. Send it to me for a written and video analysis .

I will address your personal strengths and weaknesses. I will give you my insights and offer some specific practice

exercises to enhance your game.

 * Items you will need: cue, pool table, & VHS video camera\tape  *

To prepare your video begin by placing the cue ball on the headspot (See Diagram)

In order to correctly evaluate your stroke mechanics I will need 6- frontal view shots

and 6 - side view shots recorded for each of the 3 shots on the diagram.

* Zoom in as close as you can while including each profile point *

Each shot will need to be performed at a firm ball speed.

(Firm ball speed can be defined as shooting the cue ball lengthwise into the rail and the c.b. traveling 2 table lengths plus.)

The first shot we will look at is the follow shot listed as #1 on diagram.

Shot 1-Follow Shot # 1
This will be a follow shot. (cue ball should travel 3-4 rails after contact.)
(See Diagram)

Shot 2 - Stun Shot # 2  -Position tip at Center cue ball

The object of this shot is to have no side spin on c.b.. This shot will need to be shot very firmly.  (See Diagram)

Shot 3 -Draw shot-# 3 - position tip at center bottom c.b. - Draw ball back to rail

The final series of strokes will be the long draw\backspin shot.

The objective here is to pocket the object ball and draw the cue ball to the end rail.(See Diagram)

While using a power stroke diminishes accuracy it also produces more identifiable stroke flaws.

Recognizing these flaws will help you gain improvements in your game.

As you are filming the video do not feel self conscious or worried about missing a shot.

* For your own benefit do not edit out missed shots *

Missed shots can provide a more dynamic indicator and are an important part of long term improvement.

I am confident that any player will be pleased with their personal video lesson custom tailored to your specific needs.
